Entertainment Zindabad Contest: Terms and Conditions

Every contest's terms and conditions (T&C) are an important legal and regulatory component that describes the rules, standards, and expectations for both participants and organisers. Depending on the location and jurisdiction, contests are subject to a variety of rules and regulations. The terms and conditions guarantee that the contest complies with these legal obligations. There might be laws governing eligibility, prize distribution, taxation, and consumer protection, for example. T&C define participants' responsibilities and obligations, such as providing accurate information, adhering to regulations, and adhering to ethical standards.

Keeping the above points in mind, Dish TV has also issued some terms and conditions to be abided by every subscriber who is going to participate in this contest. Users are urged to carefully read the following terms and conditions before participating in the "independence day contest" hosted by Dish TV. By registering for and participating in the Contest, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. Please do not enter the Contest if you do not agree to these terms and conditions.

  1. For this Contest, a "Subscriber/Participant" shall mean and include an individual/person who is the legitimate owner/user of the Dish TV DTH connection and in whose name the DTH connection is operational and registered according to the records held by Dish TV.
  2.  The Contest will begin on August 8, 2023, at 00:00 hours (IST) and end on August 15, 2023, at 23:59 hours (IST).
  3.  To be eligible to win the Contest, a Dish TV customer must take the Quiz during the Contest Period and properly answer all questions. The foregoing is required for a subscriber to qualify as a Participant in the fortunate draw.
  4.  Two questions will be uploaded each day at 10 a.m. on the Dish TV website, Dish TV app, and its social media page during the Contest Period. The topic of the questions will be India/Independence Day and the Hindi film Gadar -2.
  5.  Every day, five winners will be chosen from all correct/qualified entries to win one pair of cinema coupons for the film Gadar-2.
  6.  The winners will be decided by a computerised method to assure perfect impartiality, and the outcome will be final and binding, with no communication considered.
  7.  All winners will be contacted by phone to confirm their address so that the prizes may be delivered.
  8.  Under no circumstances are the prize(s) endorsable, transferable, or substitutable.
  9.  All prices are subject to any additional terms and restrictions that may be relevant to individual prizes and must be met by the winner.
  10.  Any decision made about the Contest is at the exclusive discretion of Dish TV and is final and binding on the Contest participants.
  11.  This Contest is being run on a "best effort" basis, and subscribers' participation is entirely optional and subject to acceptance of these terms and conditions. If a participant fails to follow Dish TV's instructions, or if there is any ambiguity, Dish TV reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revoke the awards for that participant.

Lastly, any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be governed by Indian law. Dish TV and the Participants submit to the sole jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
