Every year Indian Premier League auction gives hope to the fans supporting their respective franchises as they eagerly wait for some additions in the squad which will help in the regular season to entertain them. It attracts millions of viewers internationally not just in India. This year everyone is eagerly waiting to see the performance and competition of recently made and famous franchise Lucknow Super Giants. This franchise has added the thrill and chills to the cricket fans and the ones who love to watch IPL.

Lucknow Super Giants is a professional franchise cricket team based in the city of Lucknow Uttar Pradesh, India. The team was founded in 2021 and is one of the eight teams that compete in the Indian Premier League (IPL), a popular Twenty20 cricket league in India. Sanjeev Goenka is its principal owner. The team is captained by KL Rahul and coached by Andy Flower.[1] The team mentor is Gautam Gambhir. In its debut season, Lucknow Super Giants qualified for the play-offs.

The team is owned by RPSG Group, who previously owned the Rising Pune Supergiant franchise between 2016 and 2017. This team is expected to play its home matches at the  Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The Board of Control for Cricket in India allowed a consortium of three companies or individuals to bid for each franchise. The Sanjiv Goenka-owned RPSG Group won the rights to operate the Lucknow franchise with a bid of 7,090 crores. The team launched a competition to decide its name, from which the name Lucknow Super Giants was chosen in January 2022. Ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction, the franchise drafted KL Rahul as their captain for 17 crore, making him the joint highest paid player in the league. The franchise also bought Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi The team unveiled their jersey on 23 March 2022.

LSG is constitued by batters like KL Rahul who is also the captain of the team, Manan Vohra, Quinton De Kock and Nicholas Pooran. They have effective bowlers like Avesh Khan, Mark Wood, Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, Navee Ul Haq. Sharp all-rounders like Ayush Badoni, Deepak Hooda, Kyle Mayers, Marcus Stoinis, Daniel Sams, Swapnil Singh make the squad equally competitive and hard to defeat.

In order to promote the team and create awareness about the upcoming IPL season, the owners of Lucknow Super Giants conducted a roadshow in the city of Lucknow. The roadshow was a massive event, with thousands of fans turning up to catch a glimpse of their favourite players and show their support for the team.

During the roadshow, the players travelled in an open bus across various parts of the city, waving at the crowds and interacting with fans. The team also conducted a few promotional events and photo opportunities at malls and other public places in the city, which helped to create a buzz around the team and generate excitement for the upcoming IPL season.
