Netflix and Amazon Prime charges a fee to its users for streaming movies, shows, etc. Netflix offers basic and premium subscription plans to its users. Standard data charges are applicable while streaming shows on mobiles and tablets. DTH broadcast programs are based on a daily set predetermined schedule. You might miss your favorite show because of the fixed time of broadcasting. However, some leading DTH service providers like Dish TV and Tata Sky offer Live TV recording feature in their set-top boxes. You can stream any show, anywhere through mobile apps at any time. The frequent ad breaks in traditional TV shows can create interruptions. A long ad break can be annoying in between a movie or any other show. The duration of ads in mobile apps is short, lasting only a few seconds. There’s also an option of skipping the ads after a few seconds. Take YouTube ads, for example, you can skip these ads after a few seconds.
